The practice serves adolescents ages 13 and older, adults, couples, and families. Individual psychiatric care and psychotherapy, as well as couples and family psychotherapy, are available when appropriate.
No. A referral is not required to contact Dr. Malone’s office or discuss whether an initial assessment may be appropriate.
Dr. Malone meets with you privately, or with a family member if you wish, to understand why you are seeking care. The assessment is used to consider likely causes, treatment options, and the best course of action for your individual situation.
Answers about the kinds of care provided and how treatment is considered.
Yes. Depending on an individual evaluation, care may include psychotherapy, medication management, or a thoughtful combination of approaches.
Individual psychotherapy sessions are generally 45 minutes and explore causes and solutions in depth. Sessions are often weekly and commonly continue for at least six to twelve weeks, with the duration guided by the individual situation and treatment goals.
Medication may be considered when clinically indicated. Dr. Malone discusses the purpose, potential benefits, and considerations of any medication before a trial is initiated. Anxiety, sleep concerns, and pain may be addressed with non-addictive medication options when appropriate.
Yes. Dr. Malone offers individualized care for trauma related to physical, sexual, emotional, or war experiences, including extensive experience with dissociative identity disorder concerns.
Yes. Couples and family psychotherapy are available to support communication, resolve conflict, and better understand relationship and family patterns.

In-person appointments are available at the Grapevine office for patients across the Dallas–Fort Worth area. Telehealth care is available for patients located anywhere in Texas.
The practice is self-pay and does not bill insurance. Please call the office with questions about payment arrangements.
No. Dr. Malone does not currently provide inpatient or residential treatment.
Dr. Malone has practiced in more than one clinical setting during his career. Many online reviews relate to prior hospital or inpatient care, which is different from his current outpatient practice. Dr. Malone’s current practice is outpatient only, with in-person appointments in Grapevine and telehealth available throughout Texas.
